Annual Piano and Violin Sale Benefiting the Music A.F.A. Program Scheduled for May 2-4, 2024

For the past several years, Nashville State’s Music Associate of Fine Arts program has partnered with the Rockley Family Foundation to support music education through the usage of and sale of instruments. Due to this partnership, the Foundation provides scholarships and world-class instruments to the program.

As part of the arrangement, Nashville State had the use of new first-class pianos and digital pianos on a no-cost basis for the 2023-2024 school year. In 2022, the Foundation generously gifted a handmade Stravari Arista violin valued at around $10,000 to then-student Loren Hatcher.

These instruments, and instruments made otherwise available, will be sold at a discount from new retail pricing to perpetuate this valuable program and provide scholarship money for music students.

Normally, the sale is held on the White Bridge campus. However, due to several facility improvements, such as the new School of Health Sciences building, the 2024 sale will be held:

This event will feature starter to professional-level instruments from such famous makers as Steinway & Sons, Yamaha, Seiler, Pramberger, Roland, Italia Fine Violins, and many others.

Most instruments are less than one year old, have a new factory warranty, are tuned, and ready to go.

Delivery and special no-interest financing are available on-site. Special no-interest financing is available.

Moreover, in most cases, a substantial portion of your purchase is considered a charitable contribution to the Rockley Family Foundation and may be tax-deductible.
